Frontend/UI Developer:

We are on the hunt for skilled developers who can help us lay out, hook up, and launch great projects — and are as exited by what browsers can do these days as we are.

You should be:

  • Passionate about usability and creating products that people like interacting with
  • Familiar with current web standards and developing trends
  • Well-versed in the layout and language of social networks
  • Geeked out by what browsers are capable of, and where front-end technologies are going
  • Comfortable translating mockups into living, breathing websites and applications
  • Excited about solving problems, proud of your code, and happy to work with others

Qualifications:

  • Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills (HTML5 goodies, CSS3 stylings, and jQuery plugins a plus)
  • Experience with dynamic web languages like Python and Ruby (Python/Tornado a big plus)
  • Experience with 3rd party API integration and social web development
  • Experience with source control systems like SVN and Git
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience working on template-based websites

Backend/Platform Developer:

We’re searching for experienced developers who can help drive build-out of our platform, as well as architect systems for smaller projects.

You should be:

  • Passionate about creating robust, scalable web applications
  • Skilled at explaining and clearly documenting code
  • Interested in social network integration and development
  • Comfortable working with and developing REST APIs and third-party services
  • Excited about solving problems, proud of your code, and happy to work with others
  • Based near NYC or willing to relocate

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience building scalable web applications
  • Experience with dynamic web languages like Python and Ruby (Tornado, Sinatra or similar frameworks experience a plus)
  • Experience with relational and key-value data stores (MongoDB, Redis or similar a plus)
  • Experience building and scaling high-traffic social sites
  • Experience with third-party API integration and social web development (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Experience with source control systems like SVN and Git
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

UI/UX Designer:

We’re hunting for a UX specialist who can help us with the user interface and user experience design with an exciting, growing company — and we hope that’s you!

You should be:

  • Passionate about usability and creating products that people like interacting with
  • Familiar with current and emerging UX standards for the web, iOS, and Android
  • Well-versed in the layout and language of social networks
  • Comfortable translating concepts into wireframes and user flows for discussion
  • Excited about solving problems, proud of your designs, and happy to work with others

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding how social experiences work across multiple platforms
  • Experience designing for the web and iOS (Facebook platform and Android a huge plus)
  • Working knowledge of UX guidelines, developer documentation, and best practices for Facebook platform and iOS
  • Extensive Photoshop/Illustrator skills (ability to prototype in HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus)
  • BA or MFA/MPS in interaction design or equivalent experience

Graphic Designer:

We’re looking for someone who can work with us on the user interface and graphic design for a few exciting projects we’ve got coming up.

You should be:

  • Passionate about good design and creating fun and elegant products
  • Familiar with current and emerging trends for the web, iOS, and Android
  • Well-versed in the layout and language of social networks
  • Comfortable creating mockups and assets from wireframes and concepts
  • Excited about creating user interfaces that a wide variety of people will use and enjoy

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Photoshop/Illustrator skills (HTML, CSS and JavaScript chops a plus)
  • Experience designing for social networks and iOS (icon design a huge plus)
  • Working knowledge of Facebook and iOS design standards and practices
  • BA or MFA/MPS in graphic design or equivalent experience
